My guy Simon Boisvert's one of them. Says he's better than Bedard at the same age & he hasn't been enthralled by a prospect since McDavid, and if you were to exclude McDavid, he hasn't been as high on anyone since Lemieux.

Everyone can get it wrong. Snake had Brad Lambert on his no pick no matter what list, and if I recall correctly, his #1 was Conner Geekie.

Boisvert had Geekie #1 midway through the season, but finished the year at #5 because he didn't like what he saw in the WHL playoffs.

By memory, his 2022 draft order was

I have followed Wright since he was 15 , my cousin played with him in the GTHL

On/Off motor was my biggest issue with him

Hugo right now made the right pick , Slaf will be a beast in a few years

In his D year, watched his last month of CHL regular season and all his playoffs. Looked like a floater most of the time. And a secondary player. Chromiak was the star and play driver. Was really disappointed as I thought we were drafting him. So glad or scouting dept pounded the table for Slaf.

he was probably always so much better than those he played, he got into bad habits, and I am not sure he has recovered from falling to fourth

By the way, those of you in the neighborhood of some WHL teams, I can't recommend this enough: Go watch Gavin McKenna when he comes to town.

He turned 16 years old 6 weeks ago and he's already on the shortlist for best player in the WHL.
