I had only heard about the swastika incident prior to reading that Athletic article.

It's definitely a troubling pattern and I'm out on taking him in the first round with our top pick. I think I would take a chance with Winnipeg's pick if he's still around, though. I'm a believer in rehabilitation.

I would want to know everything about his parents and family upbringing … something about all this that doesn’t pass the smell test

I don’t get that sense, his parents are trying too hard to “sell good little Trevor”, I’m leaning towards this being a nurture issue.

How is that teaching him anything but that he can do whatever he wants without consequences?

Imagine the look on his face when his draft notice arrives in the mail and he finds out that you could have saved him by supporting Ukrainian aid but preferred to be a defeatist instead.

He got a mulligan from me. You forget part of my job is to get people OUT of consequences. Lord knows if I had to be disbarred to cover up for a major crime for him, I would ask the benchers sitting in judgment at my disciplinary hearing, what would you do if he were yours.
