I don’t care too much about the 5’11 part. More concerned with the 175 part.
He’s gained 10lbs in the last year…. I’m sure he shares your concern

Totally. That's why the intangibles count. Like compete level, drive, fearlessness, leadership etc.Junior is a different beast
Tons of players who had great stats leading teams but many need to adjust to the NHL pro game
do you mean, is he a coward pussy?Catton's skill profile and stats look similar to those of Marner (in a good way), the biggest question mark would be if he has the same intangibles.
Isn’t Demigod the identical size? 5’11” / 170 lbs? That’s the same point I’ve been trying to make…..some here make it sound like this guy is David Desharnais
As an aside, I heard Arpon mention he’d be surprised if the Habs drafted Catton and he’s linked them to the bigger forwards
Yup.Isn’t Demigod the identical size? 5’11” / 170 lbs?
I've seen him a little.Justin Poirier is having some playoffs. 16g 8a in 12 games. Too bad he's 5"7.

I wonder if the Habs take a flyer on Letourneau with Winnipeg's pick.
- Arpon BasuThat brings us to the Winnipeg Jets’ Cole Perfetti, who is interesting to consider. Perfetti could not get in the Jets’ playoff lineup until Game 5 of their series against Colorado, a game in which he got 1:34 of ice time in the third period. While Monahan and Tyler Toffoli will presumably test free agency, most of the Jets’ top-nine forwards are signed through next season, leaving little room for Perfetti, who had 19 goals in 71 games this season and was the No. 10 pick in the 2020 draft. Would the Jets, who must deal with the impending free agency of Dylan DeMelo and Brenden Dillon on the blue line, be willing to part with him in return for their own first-round pick and/or one or two of the Canadiens’ excess of young, cheap, NHL-ready defencemen? The Jets’ competitive window is open, and if they don’t see Perfetti as being ready to contribute right now, perhaps a change of scenery would be in the best interests of both parties.
He looks awesome. Apparently grew 4-5 inches this year and his coordination is just now catching up. Play driver, good dangler.A guy who's going to move up the draft rankings in the next few weeks is Beckett Sennecke.
An unimpressive regular season statistically, but a very impressive playoff run in the OHL with the 67s. He's the leading scorer in the OHL playoffs.
He was ranked 13th on Pronman's rankings, and I saw (for whatever it's worth) McCagg say he thinks he might possibly be taken in the top-5.
A name to keep an eye on.
Well, yes.do you mean, is he a coward pussy?
In the NHL, yes, he will need bigger players around him to be effective. What he did in the WHL will be irrelevant to his NHL success. It’s a far different animal.Yeah, good point. He only scored 116 points (most points for a draft eligible player in all of junior) due to the fact he was on a line with wingers 5'11", 181lb Chase Bertholet and 5'10" 186lb Conner Roulette. So he obviously needs big wingers to be effective.

He won’t go top five, and I doubt Grant actually believes that but Grant likes to throw crap like that out to get attention.A guy who's going to move up the draft rankings in the next few weeks is Beckett Sennecke.

For the same reason why you can’t compare Bedard to Catton despite similar size. One is a lot better than the other, as per most “experts.”Yup.
That's the question I asked Krustchev a few weeks ago: Why would you be okay drafting Demidov, but against drafting Catton? They're virtually identical. Same height, size, position, shooting side.
Yeah don't get that wrong. Go Gens Go.Oshawa not Ottawa
