2024 Draft

A guy who's going to move up the draft rankings in the next few weeks is Beckett Sennecke.

An unimpressive regular season statistically, but a very impressive playoff run in the OHL with the 67s. He's the leading scorer in the OHL playoffs.

He was ranked 13th on Pronman's rankings, and I saw (for whatever it's worth) McCagg say he thinks he might possibly be taken in the top-5.

A name to keep an eye on.

Hell of a player like Greentree but needs to add muscle to his frame

Nah I want the pick, too many good players available even though like you, there is no one that especially stand out at our rank, but the opposite is true, there is no one I especially don’t like.

Use the other assets to make a trade. We now have a handful of players who are no longer waiver exempt and need to go.

On the that point, getting a good player in the top 7 just adds real talent to the group of waiver exempt players thus adding useful flex to the roster.

Ceiling was actually the main concern for him, he didn't display a lot of offense in college, lots of scouts, including myself (not a scout but you know what I mean) thought his ceiling was around 60 points with all the other qualities that he's been displaying. He was seen as a safe pick, low floor, with decent but limited upside. Being a 35 goals, 80 points scorer has been a bit of a surprise, and it's all to his credit.

Brady has exceeded expectations IMO

He was the safest top 5 pick in that draft but not many had him a PPG
