2024 NHL Playoffs Thread

Maurice must have thought this week he was still coaching the Leafs, and getting them "game ready" for the playoffs.

Florida was not the team we saw last week. They looked like they were content having won the Florida State championship, and weren't sure they wanted to grind it out for three more series.

Not saying Florida will lose the series, but it was an example of how things can change from one round to the next. Now they may start gripping the sticks a little tighter, a bad bounce happens... and it gets away. Or not.

I really wonder where he would have gone if the OHL had a season in his draft year. I'd safely assume, not in the 20s.

I fully expected the Bruins to win game 1 with ease. Florida has been sitting on their collective ass for a week and the Bruins are riding the wave after disposing of the Leafs.

I also fully expect game 1 to be the last Bruins win of the season.

They're not just leaf fans at this point dude. We've all been posting together for two decades plus. A little decorum after a tough loss. Taunt all you want here but it's just poor form to go there and do it
 
I wasn't taunting them on Monday. But by Monday they'd all gone from "Marner has to go" to "We can't trade Marner because we'll never get a fair return for him". They were already circling he wagons on running it back again for another year. All I was doing was asking how that type of thinking was going to get them anywhere. I wasn't just shit posting.
