2024 NHL Playoffs Thread

4-1 Oilers. No lead is safe with Skinner but Canucks only have 10 shots and we're 7 minutes into the 3rd. Even he can maintain a lead when he faces no shots.

It's been pretty even minutes-wise for each side. The refs have called lots of dives by McDavid/Drai and then don't call stuff like that obvious stick to the head drawing blood by McDavid vs Hughes. Or they decide to make even-up calls like calling Zadorov for an oiler holding his stick on the bench. Overall, IMO they're tilting their calls in the Oilers favor based on crucial times and situations.
 
Canucks were AWOL last night. Poorest effort all playoffs for them, IMO. Not sure if it was jitters, or what. They need to get shots on goal. Golden opportunity to exploit Skinner, thrown away. Skinner looked uncomfortable all game. And they let him off the hook. Pettersen another lackluster effort and Miller and Boeser's worst game. Only Garland and Lindholm appeared to have jump and urgency to their game up front.

Probably more than you considering I'm originally from Vancouver and used to go to a TON of games at the old Pacific Coliseum. ;)

But nothing can justify four guys ganging up on one, unless they were armed. Pure cowardice there.

The bunch of them look like trailer trash to me, though. Including the Canuck fan. Probably from Newton area of Surrey if I had to guess.
