Newton is all Indian now like that kid who became famous by screaming Nashville could suck his dick
LOL...I see it's retained its "character", tho.

I lived in Vancouver for 26 years and during that time I never once missed a Habs game, among many others that I attended both at the Coliseum and at GM Place/Rogers Arena. They're assholes. Entitled, nouveau riche, clueless, can't hold their liquor, assholes. I've never had a problem with an Oilers fan, a Flames fan, a Nordiques fan, even a Leafs fan. And as long as you keep your fingers away from their faces, even Bruins fans, while occasionally annoying, were tolerable.Probably more than you considering I'm originally from Vancouver and used to go to a TON of games at the old Pacific Coliseum.
But nothing can justify four guys ganging up on one, unless they were armed. Pure cowardice there.
The bunch of them look like trailer trash to me, though. Including the Canuck fan. Probably from Newton area of Surrey if I had to guess.

Canucks fans, however...
Ask Count. He's been to games with me and he's seen it up close. The closest I ever got to needing to resort to physical violence at a sporting event was at Canucks games. I went and sat among French soccer hooligans in Paris at a PSG match and less happened to me there than at the average Habs-Canucks tilt in Vancouver.
They're assholes who deserve a beating.
Consider this salient fact: the Canucks fan in the video got beat up even though his team didn't win and no Oilers fan was angry about the result of the game. If the Oilers had been eliminated, sure I could see some disgruntled Edmonton fans lashing out at the first person they saw in a Canucks jersey but the Oilers won and all Edmonton fans were happy. So if this clown got his head caved in its because he didn't come correct and brought it on himself. And speaking as someone with over a quarter century of experience with Canucks fans, both in and out of their natural habitat, I am willing to bet any amount of money that this guy deserved whatever he got.
you bounced at Brandy's?AKA, Liberals, lol.
I'm not apologizing for Canuck fans. I agree with everything you said. I lived in the GVRD for nearly 40 years, and worked in a very famous nightclub for a couple years, where I had my share of encounters with the idiots you speak of. However, and it's a big however TO ME, there is no justification or defending 4 goofs jumping one guy, ever. That's inexcusable no matter what the Canuck fan did, barring a weapon being involved.
LOL, uh-uh. Was never a fan of strippers or strip clubs. Haha.you bounced at Brandy's?
I liked Luv A Fair in the dayLOL, uh-uh. Was never a fan of strippers or strip clubs. Haha.
Worked two years at Luv-A-Fair and one at The Yale. Great way to meet hot women without having to "tip" them. Unlike Brandy's.

i had a lot of fun at the Metro/Outlaws..Well, if you went there anytime between about late 1988 to early 1990, we would almost certainly have met. I was at the front door 7 nights a week. Prior to working there, I was strictly a rock guy (Kits Pub, Metro etc) and we used to scoff at the Luv-A-Fair crowd. That all changed after working there. Had an absolute blast. Every night was a show. A spectacle. Met lots of celebrities in that place. It was owned by Greeks who also owned the Olympia Pizza, Celebrities, Dover Arms, and eventually they also bought Graceland. Fun times. Never to be forgotten.
I used to live at Cardero and Robson then at Cardero and Nelson. Went to the Dover many times, even worked a few shifts at the RBC next door. I also ordered from Olympia a lot. I didn't move there til 92 so I might have missed your stint at Luv-A-Fair.Well, if you went there anytime between about late 1988 to early 1990, we would almost certainly have met. Been to Kits Pub a couple of times, found it a tad boring. The Yale is still there, I believe, as is Dick's on Dicks but Luv-A-Fair, and the one across the street from it (the name of which escapes me) were turned into condo towers years ago.

Last I remember Dick's was still there but the one storey building it occupied had turned into a 20 storey condo. But the door and the awning were still there so I assumed that the condo was built around and in top of it.Ah, cool. That particular Olympia was a different owner. They owned the one on W.Broadway. Kits Pub in it's heyday (early to mid 80's) was THE place to be. Pamela Anderson was there regularly before her Baywatch days. By the early 90's when you went, it was pretty much toast. Dicks has been torn down. I remember running into Mike Reno from Loverboy at dicks...lots of hockey players used to go there too. Downtown Van was fun back then. It's a dump now.

The Roxy on Granville was the big pick-up joint in the 90's and 00's. I think that's where Milan Lucic was assaulted by asshole Canucks fans. Lucic was born there but hasn't gone back to visit since then.
Graceland! Yes I remember now. I saw the Jim Rose Circus there once upon a time.I never liked the Roxy. Douche-bag central. And I don't like Lucic, either for that matter. The club you mention across from Luv-A-Fair, was actually off the back alley off the opposite side of the street. And it was called Graceland. Chicks in cages suspended from the ceiling wearing boustiers, lycra shorts and fishnet stockings.
