2025 NHL Trade Deadline

apparently people still think you can win with 12 forwards under 6'0

I wish our entire top six was as big as Slaf...but right now, Slaf is not a top 6 player.

He has 8 fucking goals.

Less than Heineman who hasn't played in a month and never on the powerplay

Less than Armia who is fully entrenched as a bottom six player.

Yeah. I don’t question his compete level but he looks lost 90% of the time and he straight up admits in his interviews that he’s not confident

No one is. But not for Dobson. Take a look at the size of our better forwards. They’re not big to begin with.
He would not be my first choice, but dunno, if it comes down to it, I would think about it seriously. I'm not sure if Slaf will ever truly figure it out, there is hope, but there is risks. And there is room for both Reinbacher and Dobson on the right side, and I doubt Reinbacher will ever be better than Dobson.

I get the point about penny stocks.

But… to keep the analogy, it’s also possible you are selling low.

I’m in no rush to trade him…. but I don’t view him as untouchable so if someone calls asking for him, I will listen

He's been on the first PP all year, and has 7 PP points? Evans has 6 SH points.

Hughes said he told Slafkovsky:

“we didn’t draft you to be Jack Hughes, he does things you’ll never do, and you do things Jack Hughes will never do, we drafted you to be Slaf, so if you continue to play like Jack Hughes we drafted the wrong guy”

Must have lost his confidence when he heard “he does things you’ll never do”
