Anyone know if Sami Vatanen one of those rare RDman capable of playing LD? He’s UFA, NJD have to be looking at moving him by deadline, he’d be right at home as a Finn...
Bergevin should be selling.
I hope he puts some of his vets on the market and we get another 1st rounder.
to top it off that Chicago 2nd rounder could be a 30-35 pick
The only UFA we have this year is Nate Thompson, and I don't think MB is willing to give up on next season yet.
Probably Brook, Ikonen , and Ylonen
Petry should of been moved in the summer for a heist

Maybe. It's the player I keep flip flopping on. For most of the past 3 years, he's been our #1 D and he seemed to get better each year. With his skating ability, he could be effective for many more years.
I'm sure we could get a haul for him, but I'm also not sure if we're not better resigning him. We don't have any replacement for him at the moment.
They got a guaranteed 1st rounder in the upcoming draft, that’s significant given hype surrounding this draft even if it’s in mid-20s - furthermore there’s no guarantee Yotes make playoffs (even with Hall) so that 2020 pick could be even higher, only top-3 protectedProbably. Coyotes got Hall for mostly scraps and spare parts. Not sure what Sal was referring to by “nice haul” on the Devils part. Not sure what their rush was. Probably could’ve gotten more quality closer to the trade deadline.
Oh no, another Jeffry Petry acolyte. His hockey sense, by NHL standards, is minimal, and despite his nice skating he's maddeningly inconsistent, either very good or pure trash.
