Around the League: 2019-2020 Regular Season

Not crazy about Boeser's health history and I think giving up #9 for him may be too expensive.

Romanov and our 1st might do it. I wouldn't though.

GW , we are in no position roster or depth wise to make these trades

Look at the JD trade , even if he was a 30 goal scorer we lost our top much needed prospect on D that filled a need

I like Brock but he does nothing to move the needle and we lose valuable assets in return

The only way you win a trade is by having great depth and moving for areas of need

RJ for Seth Jones where Nashville was loaded on D is an example

We move Romanov , your trying to find another one all over again

I completely agree, hence why I said I wouldn't do it. I wouldn't trade our key young guys unless it's in a package for an elite player. As much as I like Boeser, we don't really need more wingers. Let's keep piling up our depth to build surplus.

They will want CC plus a swap of firsts if VCR keeps their pick
Maybe..maybe not. If the reason they are even exploring trading Boeser is cap related (what UFA in 2-years?), then perhaps a Caufield for Boeser swap might best meet their needs (getting a high end ELC).

would you swap Caufield for Boeser?

No chance , if we were ahead of the development curve like Colorado I would consider it

Boeser won't get traded unless the return is so good, they couldn't say no.

By the time he'll need a contract, all those shitty contracts (Eriksson, Roussel, etc) will all be off the books. They'll have plenty of capspace.

They should be ok unless EP , Hughes , and Markstrom eat whats left of the shrinking cap
