Floridians have about 3 months to flex over Toronto. I accept that. Florida would be nice right now. But I want nothing to do with the summers.

Summers are hot but there's beaches, pools, waterparks everywhere and AC. Everywhere. Literally everywhere.

So you can keep your justifications. When you guys get a heat wave, and you do, is everything air conditioned? We're prepared for this like you are for winter. Storms and all.

The weather is why you move here. The people are why you move away.

Fuck I hate Florida's AC abuse. 5000 degrees outside, want to go to a store? You're met with -5000 bone chilling conditions. Never comfortable. I get the appeal but it's not for me.

I can't do it. Florida is inhabitable for way more than 2-3 months for me. Literally a living nightmare for my personal tastes. But yes our winters are shit and I get the snowbird thing.

That's exactly correct and believe me, you spend more time inside during winter than a Florida summer.

Feel like the GTA kinda gets to avoid the heavy heavy snow anyway and it’s outside of the city that gets hammered really badly.

For now I’ll still take that over most of the US. I like my democracies non-crumbly and lower chance of getting shot at Wal-mart.
