Mrazek was owed $8.6m real money with 2yrs of $3.8 caphit, and he was both injured and legit terrible while Murray is injured and just ok.
Mrazek cost us like 10 spots in the draft.
also, we got a 2nd and 3rd with Murray when we traded for him.
Gotta dump him. Woll will be 25 next year. He has to play. There's a few guys that need real time with the Leafs next year.
3.7if we waive Murray and send him down, what's the cap hit?
so that’s not really a viable option either

one was way too expensive thoughThey did roll the dice. Two of them to be exact.
I imagine we'll end up keeping him. Is Woll signed? They may just carry three goalies. But we'll likely be into LTIR before the season starts anyhow (thanks Jake!)Putting large cap hits in the minors hasn’t made much sense to do since the NHL closed the loophole that let you bury 100% of the cap hit in the AHL.
A trade or a buyout are our only viable options for Murray, I think, assuming that Murray will be determined to play next season and LTIR won’t be an option.
Yeah, unfortunately that one die had 5 "1s" and one "6".one was way too expensive though

whatever spiritual dance was done to convince themselves that Murray was a good buy low candidate last offseason can likely be repeated this year, is my concern.Yeah, Woll is signed for the next two seasons for $766K.
And I disagree—I can’t imagine them carrying a $4.8M cap hit and using up an extra roster spot for the sake of their third-best goalie. Especially with Samsonov also due a raise.
Once they get Samsonov re-signed, I think they’ll trade Murray for sure. And if they somehow fail to do that, they’ll buy Murray out (which would only be a $687K cap hit next year and $2M in 24/25).
