To be fair he’s in a very rare spot of coaching in Montreal with no pressure on him for the foreseeable future

Yeah, thus far we’ve seen him coaching a team during the dead-cat bounce of an already lost season, then during a season where the only expectation was they look somewhat respectable while also trying to be one of the worst teams in the league.

Different story when the switch flips, there are expectations and you’re trying to win.

Maybe he can do it and become another exception to the rule, but we don’t have much to go on so far.

It’s not that hard to coach.

You need to just be able to fire up guys when they’re in need of it, and play your best players at all times, especially the good young ones.

There, I just taught you all everything you need to know about coaching.

I think MSL will be another exception. At the very least, his style seems very different than most other prestige player coaching hires.

I do think he could be better than most.
