let's see:

1. players don't waive NTC/NMCs. (they do)
2. player don't waive NTC/NMCs from good teams. (they do).
3. tavares would never uproot his family. (but would block his team's moves, almost ensuring that he would have to uproot his family not just for 1 year but for the rest of his career).

did I miss any?
 
Re beating the dead horse Tavares NMC argument again I see. We are at peak offseason. Luckily only a little over a month until hockey is back.
 
Anyway to circle back, Elias Petterson is a terrific hockey player and also there’s no way the Canucks are trading him to the Leafs.

Sanderson is good, but man they're really gambling on this team making a huge leap just based on internal improvement, because they're locked in good right now longterm. Not even like they have any huge prospects left to come up.

as of right now they haven't made the playoffs and already looks like the only caproom they'll have next year is to re-sign or replace Tarasenko.
