Though to be fair, Tarasenko was .45 at the same age Demidov will be this year.

Any/much lower than that and you're getting into the D+1 seasons of guys like Sharangovich, Podkolzin, Dadonov

Shit, if he doesn't hit .50ppg he would be getting compared to our very out Grebenkin, who was .5ppg as a 19 yr old in the KHL.
 
I think there’s a small chance the Habs will get their hands on him sooner

But Dach isn't actually a centre. In his healthy year with Montreal you used Suzuki, Dvorak, and Monahan ahead of him at centre. He wins like 35-40% of draws, he's a winger.

Second season meant second Habs season as you referred to his first habs season in the post I was responding to. And yes, I was kidding.

Dach was a second line centre in the coach's eyes with a full lineup on opening night last season, for what it's worth. But yes he's also effective as a winger, being dominant on puck possession and 6'4. Faceoffs are a huge flaw I'll give you that, but it's probably his only legitimate one.

It's not about Dach. He could pan out if he stops getting hurt all the time or he may not. What slays me is the Monday morning QB crap omitting several facts like delayed development in a rapist organization compounded by injuries but fuck context. Leafers know it all. Too bad it never transfers to the front office.

Rapists or not, it should say at least something to you that a team starting a full rebuild decided to move on from a recent enough 3rd overall pick for 13th overall that year.
