what the fuck delayed development did he receive in Chicago? He played his D+1 in the NHL and was given 18 minutes a night in his 2nd and 3rd season before they cut bait and moved him to you.

The point being that at the time Dach isnt relevant to tanking whatsoever, he simply wasnt good enough.

The Hawks moved him cause they did not believe in the player or not, be it talent, durability, or attitude.

Im happy he's something for Habs fans to be excited about though, i know the feeling, just with less damning data.

Dach is a potential middle 6 forward. But to this point in his career he's produced at a 1.1-1.35 P/60 rate, which is like 3rd or even 4th line scoring rates.

Truth hurts.
