The NFL has a major advantage that it has set times for games and everyone knows it. Superbowl has an appeal to nearly everyone as it's as much about the food, commercials and reason to enjoy a Sunday night as it is about the football for most.
Naw. Last year was 6b nhl and 2b MLS league revenue. It’s coming… this was pre Messi
An IEG report has found that the MLS generated a total sponsorship revenue of $680 million in the 2022, putting it just $70 million short of the $750 million generated by the NHL
they could do no wrong....they scheduled games on Christmas for the first time this year...on Netflix only.... and this happened
>>Christmas was a record-breaking day for Netflix and the NFL with an unduplicated audience of nearly 65 million U.S. viewers, according to Nielsen.
and compared to other Netflix shows globally...
Chiefs-Steelers was in the daily Top 10 in 72 countries and saw high viewership in Canada, Germany, Ireland and the UK, while Ravens-Texans was in the daily Top 10 in 62 countries and hit strides in Australia, Austria and Mexico, among others.
Broken clock syndromeIt's crazy how this guy can accidentally have a good opinion every once in awhile and then just be completely out to lunch on most things.

Why do you hate the athletes you cheer for?
NFL is the one that killed ChristmasChristmas day is a great way to generate eyes... if you don't celebrate then you have nothing else to do and if you do celebrate your likely eating and drinking most of the day somewhere with family and could use a distraction.
The athletes are just a means to an end. I cheer for teams, not individual players. Once a player is no longer on my team they are dead to me. They exist for my entertainment. Once they no longer do that they no longer have any value. My fealty to sports is purely transactional.
