Monahan & Lucic combine for ~$11.5M for one more year and they won't be able to hide them on LTIR. Price can be. It frees up capspace, allows them to sign both Kadri & Weegar without much maneuvering beyond that.

Do I think it's likely? Probably not. But would I be happy if we could pull it off? Absolutely.
