Around The League - 2024-25 Regular Season

There is no way that anywhere near 20 percent, let alone 22 percent, of Americans follow hockey (or boxing, for that matter). That “survey” sounds like it was invented by the blogger in the basement of his parents home, where he still resides at age 37.
The data is from Statista, like many statistics available on the internet. I’m willing to consider better data if you have it, but I doubt you do.

But yes, all those numbers are insanely high. I doubt 75% watch football or 50% watch basketball or baseball. But the overall ranking seems about accurate from my own perception.

I don't think for a second boxing is the fourth most popular sport in North America. I'd be surprised if it's higher than 10th or so. Worldwide, however, I might be willing to listen.

The order for the top-3 makes sense. Football is king, basketball is prince (Remember when Bettman was hired, basketball was going downwards & hockey was going upwards? Good times) and baseball is the jester. Soccer is most likely fourth & hockey fifth.

If you go by viewer ratings, I think that's a fairly accurate list.

No no. Bettman is the best!
