I think we're pretty deep on the blue line with Guhle, Harris, Barron, WiFi, Mailloux and Hutson. If we get 1st or 2nd overall it's a no-brainer. Bedard followed by Fantilli.

But with our luck we'll move down instead of up.

Depth is potentially good but team is missing the 1D/2D , that Hedman /McDonugh for a decade

Well, yeah. The same way there aren't really 32 true #1 centers in the NHL, or 32 franchise QBs in the NFL.

Plenty of #1s in name alone, though.

I keep seeing him as a McDonagh type. Can log a tons of minutes, solid D, can support the offense.

I am fine with that with Mailloux and others in the mix

If you cant get that true 1D/2D at least get a top 6 loaded with higher end 3`s and a possible 2

I just dont want any slugs like most years
