Ian Cole wasn't checking ROR on that goal. All he did was wave his stick around. He should have been busy two handing him.

This was Tampa's game to win, as I didn't think the Leafs were very good. But the Lightning weren't very opportunistic on their chances. Despite a strong game from their grinders, those guys don't finish well. And Samsonov was better than Vasilevski. Winning this game should give the Leafs a lift. But we've seen that movie before.

I don't fear any of Matthews, Marner or Nylander, truthfully.

Players like Ryan O'Reilly scare me way more than them, always have. I don't need much evidence to believe that ROR wants to win way more than those three combined do and you'll see it in his play. He'll do whatever the hell is required.

For every time you want to point at the refs screwing the Lightning, I can find you examples of them screwing the Leafs. Kind of like when they hit McCabe from behind face-first into the boards in overtime.
