I agree this doesn't sound right.

But according to information we have so far, Jarmo didn't want this to happen this way, his goal was to wait next draft to maximize the number of teams willing to bid and Dubois agreed to this. This info comes directly from PLD's father, so I'm incline to believe it as 100% accurate.

I'd be very surprised that he was OK with Torts going on the radio confirming that Dubois wanted out, that not a single coach staff should talk to Dubois anymore and lower Dubois's value by benching him. It doesn't make sense.
