I'm with the Rooster, geeman and GGPX on this one. I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'm not convinced Hutson has a career as a regular D man. Maybe sheltered bottom pairing PP specialist. Nemec on the other hand is a bull. Built kinda like Bullion. Although he's got some defensive wrinkles to iron out, he's doing good this year and would really solidify our RD and D overall. Near future RD: Popcorn, Nemec, Maillioux/Barron unless we keep Savard for a bit longer. Then it opens-up playing time on LD for Meth, WiFi and Ghule (Harris/Struble).
But again, I don't know if NJ is entertaining offers. There was some indication for a while now that Nemec is not happy with the Devils. So add that for more fuel for the fire.

Kessel was a Leaf who the fans derided as fat and lazy. But he never stopped scoring and started winning Cups as soon as he was no longer playing in the Six.

the fact fat Phil had only 2 assists in 4 playoff games last year is pretty solid evidence that he had little to do with it.

Phil was a huge part of their Cup runs. Lead the team in scoring the first year and was 3rd the second year. 45 pts in 49 games those 2 seasons combined.
