Yes, the Bob Berry "era" was short and brutal, just like the Randy Cunneyworth era. Berry remains the last non-interim Habs head coach who could not speak French fluently.

irony is other than the playoff losses, I would take those regular seasons in a second, 109 points in 1982 and 98 in 1983. Irony is he wasn't fired for those playoff seasons, it was the brutal year in 84 where we had a massive injuries and he was canned in February.

We were never going to win anything with Perry Turnbull, Alfie Turcotte, or Ron Flockhart.
