Yeah I don't get why Jays wouldn't have just waited the extra 6 hours to fulfill the bet. Why bother changing the avatar before the playoffs are over?

I honoured the spirit of the bet, I had it from the day the Leafs started play (May 1st) until the day that the post-season ended. A few hours in either direction really doesn't matter because that wasn't the point of the exercise.
The point was to draw attention to the fact that Montreal had a few extra points than the Leafs over the course of the regular-season and I was wrong in predicting the Leafs would finish ahead of them (I nonetheless maintain we would have over 82 games, but I digress).
Me changing it out of confidence towards Chicago's impending victory notwithstanding, I would have changed it back had Boston won last night's game. It was a symbolic gesture like the Hawks fan that got the 2013 added to the inside of his Stanley Cup tattoo showing the years the team had won it.
And it needs to be pointed out that I've kept lost bet avatars for significantly longer than required in the recent past. In fact, when I made the 2011 election bet and BeLeafer had one of his meltdowns and left, I kept the Layton avatar for three weeks longer the end date.
So yeah, blow me.
And kb needs to STFU because he's too much of a pussy to ever get involved in money bets.
Edit: but to prevent Habsy from sore feelings, I will put it back for three additional hours to cover the missing time during the game. I will take it back off at 9:02 pm.

You lost an avatar bet for pete sake, it's a wuss bet and you couldn't even man up and keep it the duration. What did you expect? Some lame little crap avatar like KB made HP use? No, if it isn't for money then the winner gets their money's worth out of the avatar.
You didn't even put back the full motion one so your taking it down at 9:02pm is not acceptable.
