I know most don’t, but I’m saying they should. I think most just don’t have the same dedication and desire to keep super fit. Meanwhile the stars you named usually do. It’s the same reason why there’s only so many stars - huge part of it is work ethic.Then why do so few players make it that far? There are 11 NHL'ers playing at 37. Another 11 36 yr olds. Of those 22, a fair chunk of them are former stars. Malkin, Crosby, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Giroux, Varlamov, Marchand. It's really, really hard to make it past 35.
