What's really at risk of being awarded to a guy like him?
I'd think we can dump him easily if it ends up being more than expected.
But a guy like this going to arbitration in the first place is pretty silly. What the heck does he argue in there?

If he was smart he’d sign a 1 year min deal so they can afford to keep him on the roster. A $1.1 mill award could land him in the AHL.

I'd think Tre wants to keep him after trading for him. He could've just not qualified him, but they must've had negotiations and know that they're somewhere in the ballpark with each other. I doubt they blindly qualified only to find out his demands are unwarranted.
