Hakanpaa for Timmins leaves them $25k under the cap.

If they sign Max PAC for the min and trade Krok they’d have $1.1 mill in cap space, which is something like $5-6 mill of deadline space.
 
The similar moves in the past were Spezza, Ennis and Thornton. Which were fine.

Then they stopped doing that and started signing guys like ZAR, NAK and Gregor instead.
 
Sure, but the question isn’t whether Lorentz is a good addition.

There are no past ghosts of former high end skilled players to min deals like Patches. All those worked out.
 
I also don't love Ennis (never actually good) and Thornton (41) as comparables.

Spezza is a decent comp but they're not really similar type players at all.
