ah yeah that's gsva not net rating.

did they ever do a checklist with net rating? i don't think so.
 
I've tried to lay out the net ratings projections but all i have to work with are last year's regular seasons net ratings (which aren't actually projections for this year) and then the ratings from the playoffs previews they do (which are actual projections, but aren't available for every player and are role-dependant).....but maybe I can get a good enough comp .....

Yeah it's probably not a coincidence that the two truly elite 5v5 years came when both Muzzin and Brodie were playing well. Hopefully Tanev+McCabe can emulate that performance, or beat it.
 
I don't think so. Leafs and Raps both have to be worth $3-4b each. TFC might be approaching $1b itself now. The other franchises must be worth something too.,

and then there's the property and stadiums? i don't know how that's factored in.

Oh I'm a dummy thinking it was just the Leafs but obviously not
