Not sure what people think this means in terms of anything new? Leafs are already completely unsuccessful. I guess if we're talking about a return to Sabre-like irrelevance then ok, but I can't see that happening as long as 34/16/88 are here

I’m pretty much the leader of the Mitch hater brigade, but I don’t really see the problem here.

Establishing from the outset that he’s not going to publicly discuss his contract is the way to go. As long as behind the scenes, his camp doesn’t pull the same shit as last time and negotiate through the media through surrogates like Dreger & Lebrun.

There wouldn't be an issue if perhaps John Tavares didn't at the same time give a far better answer to the same question. I'm a Marner fan and want him signed. But man he struggles when he opens his mouth
 
high ankle sprain should keep Minten well out of the plans until late season.

Dewar's surgery was on May 10. Over 5 months ago.
