Yup, gotta remember that they love their country and wanted to win this tourny just as much as anyone in our room. It's just too bad that a piece of human garbage had to show the world for the 1147th time that he's a piece of human garbage. It certainly did up the stakes for this game, though.

People have to remember there's a 99.9% chance there are some Biden-Harris supporters on Team USA, and some Trump supporters on Team Canada.

But as you said, most of these guys don't have the firmest grasp on politics or history. And as much as he makes us recoil in horror, there are lots of people who think Trump is outrageous or funny. A lot of these dudes are inclined to lean conservative solely because of the belief they will save a few bucks in taxes.
