LIke I said, Campbell, appears to be a good guy, great guy even. But he doesn't have teeder reflexes. Not even close. Mild upgrade over Hutchison, not even close to the talent of a starter. Not even close.

half of the Habs D tonight belongs in the AHL. So, yeah, I’d be pissed as a Leafs fan for not even trying to score a 2nd goal

We can still make it but we won't. Not with efforts like tonight. Truly embarrassing 3rd period. Continue to play like baby back bitches with the lead against inferior opponents. Probably should have lost last night too.

3/4 points against the Habs and the Ducks isn't good. Especially when they continue to melt down in 3rd periods. Couldn't eve blame it on goaltending this time. When was the last time a team got outshot 16-1 in a period? Y'all are just delusional at this point. This is not a good team.

They're not a good team, they're a great team, unless 19-8 or whatever isn't good, while we've been fucking injured consistently with significant players out. We didn't have our goalie, our #1 dman, our 1B winger, and others. Lilly was playing his third game ever. Sandin is still fresh out of the womb. Campbell's second game between the pipes. And this was the second of a back to back. The Habs had zero for the first 40 minutes, next to nothing in 50 minutes, and then scored on a bullshit shot that went through a screen.

It was pretty clear by the third that our guys were dead. It wasn't that they weren't trying to score. They had nothing left in the tank. And nothing illustrated that more than Matthews totally being gassed and unable to skate back on the last play. He would almost always catch that guy if his soul hadn't half left his body.
 
Yo leaffan2005, enough with the Ebenezer Scrooge shit. It’s not making this a better place.

16-1 against the HABS. I don't care about the large number of loser points and the "pace" we are at with Keefe. And injury excuses are for losers. Lots of teams lose players. The Penguins have been without Crosby for weeks. Boston has had injuries. And other teams also can win on back to backs. For some reason it's only this collection of 20 year olds who seemingly can't muster up the energy to play a respectable period on the 2nd day of a back go back with a lead against a trash opponent.

Bunch of loser excuses being thrown around here.
 
I didn’t see much of the game, disappointing result, but glad Campbell played well. He was real close to a shutout and win.
 
All those millennial 20 year olds with their fancy avacado toast making them tired for 3rd periods. Not goold ole boys like they used to make
