It's a tight, low scoring series tbh. Lots of star power in it yet only marchand is putting up big numbers. Though even Marchand has been a non factor in the last two games. Would be real nice if the leafs busted out and scored more than two fucking goals in a game but let's not get greedy.

Ehhh....

DeBrusk & Frederic have 3 goals each. It's not that "low scoring" of a series. Natty has us at almost 19 expected goals (all strengths) so far. 11 actual goals. 7th in xGF among all playoff teams. 15th in gf/60. That's a lack of finishing, not a lack of chances.

Marchand had two good games in shitty blowouts where we didn't show up, I'm not gonna count them.

In the real games, no one is doing much.

Our PP is simply other worldly.
 
Nothing arbitrary about it. I've been stressing games 6 and 7 for years.

And the issue has always been not enough scoring.

That hasn't changed here, with it still being impossible to get more than two goals, but now at least we're holding them to one.

Really would like a 4-1 lead tomorrow, would make it all the sweeter to hold that and send Boston packing at the same time. Nothing could be more poetic.
