They were both faceoff losses. One was whistled down 3sec after, and the other was won right back after the loss by Kampf. But both were faceoff losses.

And remember, you were the one who made the claim about faceoff wins and losses and records, and now are trying to discount 1/3 of the faceoff losses after I showed you were wrong.

The Leafs got possession immediately on one, and on the other they got possession immediately by virtue of a penalty being called.

The fuck are you even talking about.

lol jesus christ man you were the one that made the claim about faceoff% being the only important thing, not me.

It's not my fault that you now have to discount 1/3 of the faceoff losses to try and salvage your point.

i'm sure some of the faceoff wins resulted in us losing possession immediately too. but the point about faceoff% being the only important thing is your claim, not mine.

The win or loss is irrelevant if you immediately get possession, isn’t it?? Isn’t that the goal on a faceoff, to get instant possession?

You know that thing called faceoff percentage, which you keep quoting as the only important thing, which is what the nhl tracks?

The NHL tracked them as faceoff losses.

But thank you for now arguing that faceoff percentage isn't actually that important, despite making your whole argument about it being the only thing that's important.
 
As someone who suffers from depression from time to time, i often have urges to slit my wrists or bash my own head in with a cast iron skillet.

Dummy, for our purposes here, how do you count the faceoff loss in the Calgary one to be a loss when the play is whistled dead for a penalty in the first 3 seconds and we get possession? It’s the exact same as if Kampf won that draw and we got possession.

Talk about fucking doubling and tripling down. Jesus.
 
Our focus here is what happens if we get possession quickly and Kampf comes off fast.

Not if Kampf technically won or lost a draw, for fuck sake.
