Get it right. It's "light in the loafers" and yes, it's appropriate because it exposes their hypocrisy. I don't care that they're gay. I care that because they have become Uncle Tom's by shilling for political parties that hate gays, they will do anything to convince people that they are not gay, up to and including sponsoring legislation that discriminates against gay people. You don't have to be "loud and proud" but you can't get away with hypocrisy, especially when it endangers people's lives.
Melissa Lantsman is a prime example here in Canada. A Jewish lesbian who is deputy leader of a party that platforms anti-gay rhetoric and allows its MP's to take photo ops with literal Nazis. She is not helping either Jews or lesbians. She is a sell-out. An "Aunt".

That’s going to be the biggest part of their adjustment this season - they go from being hunters to being “the hunted”
That’s why depth scoring in the bottom-6 becomes essential until a hopefully healthy Laine returns after New Year
Gallagher, Anderson (forget their AAVs) now have the opportunity to face bottom-6 opposition regularly - which “should” put the Habs in an advantageous position to compete using depth factor
