No I believe he was interviewed by the Habs if memory serves. They simply chickened out and went the lower risk, lower reward route like they pretty much always do.

Gorton and Hughes better have one he'll of a powerhouse team on 3 years because if they don't and Michkov shows up and sets the league on fire that will be the end of both of them in Montreal.

And the Habs will once again revert to hiring the next available panelist on L'Antichambre as the next GM.

Drafting Reinbacher over Michkov was unforgiveable. I've lost complete faith in the current management crew as a result. Too bad, I had high hopes.
