I'm really tired of hearing it's just the players or the goaltending.
The coaching is horrible and the lack of action from the front office when legit help us available is sad.
Jiricek was worth going after when you need RHD. All the rationale here about not the right guy is so mind numbingly stupid it's amazing. With that mentality you will never improve, ever, because the "right" guy rarely comes along.

Dach replacing Monahan has been a disaster. Matheson has been mostly ok, with a few stinkers here and there, but he was never going to replicate last season’s performance (it seems he’s carrying and injury.) Slafkovsky is a concern. There’s no jam to his game. He’s a sluggish zombie out there.

And we simply gave away Kovavevic who is logging 20 mins per game with the superior Devils leaving a gaping hole on our right side that will require assets to patch up

We'll see about Jiricek. Not sold on him at all. But overall management has been pretty bad regardless. Our RHD situation is shameful.
I wanted Jiricek and a deal could have been made
If Buffalo is in dump mode , go get Cozens or Quinn and dump Dach and Newhook if Buffalo wants cap relief

The Wild sent him to the AHL quickly after acquiring him.
My only issue is the regression of Slaf and nobody improving at all
Wifi , Struble and Barron are third pair and nothing more
Dach and Newhook have not produced at all and near bust status , didnt expect huge returns but not this
Dach I dont buy this ACL time frame stuff excuse , he is invisible most nights

Slaf had a slightly better game last night but he's worrying me.
Dach is upsetting me.
Strangely I have less issues with Newhook, at least he working hard. But the production is not there. Utility 3rd liner. If he can learn to kill penalties, he could be useful.
