Chelios owns Habs rookie D scoring record at 64 but keep in mind he joined Habs at tail end of season prior, as a 22 year old after 84 Winter Olympics and played 12 regular season games + 15 playoff games - had 27GP NHL experience prior to start of rookie season

I think Dobson is a better fit, a longterm add to the core, who still needs more growth in his game (defensively), and would benefit from player whisperer MSLs tutelage.

Dobson will help solidify the top-4 and allow Carrier to slot down to 3rd pair, with Redenbacher organically replacing Matheson over next couple seasons.. if all goes well

Pulock is the same argument except that he didn’t need to be whispered to. He also costs less and has a shorter contract already attached.

Dobson is going to go for 9X8. Not doing that’s.
