Good to see our offensive stalwarts Gleason and Bodie get us back in this one. Would have been really ugly to lose another badly tilted game.

Riemer's five-hole goal was the only really bad one. The rest were floundering Leafs plays. Defensemen letting Peg forwards out of the corners unimpeded. Franson with another giveaway (gee... imagine that...)
If Riemer was Roy in his prime, nobody could blame him. But he's now the scapegoat that covers even shitty play by the rest of the team. Where's our top line this game, for example? Any points? They've been on a tear for a few games, but nothing last game or this one?
It's not all on Riemer.

It's all about Reimer's body language. He does not look confident at all. You think that kind of thing isn't contagious to the rest of the team when a few weak goals go in?

I agree that he's lost confidence. Bernier had a bad start last game too. But he had no help either. Don't you think there's confidence lacking in the forwards also? They'll have a great game, and have their lines shuffled again as a thank you.
