GDT - Round 2, Game 1 - Can Climate Change Hurry Up and Put Florida Under Water?

Will be interesting how Keefe reacts to this. Stars didn’t shine, but bottom three lines sucked as a whole. 11-7 is an option or inserting more speed into the bottom six to support the slow Cs. Can also move bunting up and knies down to support JT etc etc

But overall, we were out-goalied and it showed too. That’s a big problem if Florida gets that big of a difference in net.
 
Leafs also came close a bunch of times.

really though it was an even game other than the two bonehead fakecaber plays.

Was a very winnable game, but a lot of miscues
- Sammy shaky, lost the goaltending duel with Bob for sure
- Not sure WTF Brodie was doing on the GWG
- McCabe with a few bone head plays
- Powerplay couldnt execute
- Willy looked lost
- Marner was overplaying everything

Keefe seems to need to feel the other coaches out game one, almost like he's never coached against them before.

Panthers were opportunistic and Bob was good.

I remember seeing an interview with Bob a few years back before he got to the Panthers and he wasn't joking when he said he hates losing to Russian goalies because there are bragging rights among them involved.

There a few things I loathe more than when the Leafs dominate a playoff game, can’t score, lose and then someone busts out that “deserve-to-win-o-meter”.

Still, I’m pretty sanguine about the Leafs’ chances. I’d chalk up last night mostly to some bad puck luck where they were just a hair away from scoring on multiple occasions but the puck didn’t bounce their way.

Pretty confident they’ll come out in game two and put up a convincing win.
