Habs acquire Dvorak for 2022 1st rounder (top-10 protected) + 2024 2nd rounder

Because he is getting expensive for a guy that needs other good players to lift his game. Not worth keeping given how horrible Zona will be this season...picks are more valuable to them.

4.5 for the next 4 yrs is expensive in today's market? while a guy like Dano who score 5 a year is paid 5.5!!

Am i missing something?!
I mean this is basic, doesn't need genius to figure it out.

He is owed $5 million on average over the next 4 seasons in real money. He's been a 30 something point guy each of the full seasons he has played. Pretty pricy, especially for a tanking team like Zona.

That is not true, he was in pace of 45 points the last two season, and 40 before that(when he was 22/23), so his production got better in the last two years. and still has room to improve.
If he is pricey for Coyotes, that is another thing...
 
This is a GREAT acquisition, for many reasons, first KK will never ever going to put up more than 40-50 points(if ever he does), but we got a guy who was consistent to put up (40-45 points) on 82 games pace in a shitty team, and he is only 25 and will get better and i am expecting for him to get 50 or more points with Habs.

Good on MB to react fast.
