He's been one of our best forwards the last 2 games. Also we're 3-0 with him in the lineup.

That's why I don't mind him, even though he's flawed. Merrill is too much like Chiarot, Edmundson and Weber. We need someone that can move the puck, especially on the PP.

He went from borderline, 13th forward type player to versatile depth player.

An honest and smart player that every team wants.

I’d be shocked if he doesn’t - Jets are a physical north-south team, not as quick & elusive as Leafs, better match for Romanov given where his game is at
