Habs Season Thread: 2024-25 Regular Season

I think some gambling hoo-haw was buried by the league at one point.

Of course, it’s all perfectly legitimate… no, encouraged, now.
 
Btw I was completely floored on the Snake/Brunet podcast to know that we had a Draisaitl+4th overall deal in place for Subban that fell through because Puljujarvi slipped to 4th. I knew about the 4th but didn’t know Draisaitl was involved in it too. Holy fuck!!

Instead he's a threat to score whenever he's on the ice. It's all about projecting 4-5 years down the road . . . unless you're talking about the McDavids and Bedards of the world at age 18, of which there are obviously so few.
 
Xhekaj said he played most of the season with an injured left shoulder, said he hid it because he wanted to play.
