now this is the real Wehave, not the meely mouth "let's lose/tank" guy, deep down you see the last three seasons as failures

in the end, we will never win again anyway, Bettman will not allow it

they were always 2nd fav team from like the 1980s, Expos abused me too many times so they left me before I left them, (and the Expos stopped being cool in the early 1980s, we all knew they were a dying team, just took a while for the coup de gras to be imposed)

I used the right psychological techniques on Jr, when he claimed to like the Ducks as a 3.5 year old old, I told him it really hurt me, and then bought him nothing but Canadiens' gear, he had no choice really.

I'm the guy who keeps telling you that playoff appearances don't matter. I sant the Cup, not a wild card berth. If we aren't a Cup contender then I'd prefer we tank. I have no interest in being a team "In da mix" for a playoff spot. Fool's gold.

True but without the Covid years Habs would have missed the playoffs entirely

Nero gets fired earlier but more local puppets would have been hired to kick the can again

I dont think Hugo was in the picture that early in negotiations

I was excited when it looked like the Islanders might beat Tampa. We'd have won for sure if they pulled off the upset and in the event we didn't then I'd have been able to tell Leafs fans that the Islanders instantly became contenders after getting rid of the cancer named Tavares.

But once Tampa pulled it out in Game 7 I knew we'd be exposed as a goalie dependent fraud. The peak was St. Jean Day. I barely paid attention once we drew Tampa in the final. Everything just became inevitable.

TB`s third line killed us

We played well taking nothing against them especially defensively but that had to be the worst team in finals history
