Those fries within 5 minutes of ordering are spectacular. They go downhill fast after that though.Yeah Mickey D’s is the best of the lower end ones, by a lot. Those fries . . .
I eat fast. Look, they’re frozen fries, not fresh cut like Lafleur’s or Frites Alors. Schwartz’s fries are good too. Those fries within 5 minutes of ordering are spectacular. They go downhill fast after that though.
I have it once every 5-6 years, max.I don't think I've eaten an actual meal at McDonalds in close to 20 years. I might have gotten their apple pie once or twice in that timespan, though.
I do pass by & get their coffee, though.

If I still lived in Montreal I'd never go near a McDonald's. I'd be at Belle Province, Lafleur, Kojax, etc.I don't think I've eaten an actual meal at McDonalds in close to 20 years. I might have gotten their apple pie once or twice in that timespan.

I've all but stopped going to fast food burger joints. Maybe go to Five Guys near my work, but meh. In part because Montreal doesn't have a ton of options beyond McDonalds or A&W and if I want fast food, I much prefer getting Lebanese sandwhich or Greek pita.
McDonald’s is consistently ok, if you want that taste, they deliver. My kids love it and honestly their double cheeseburger is delicious, especially for the price. Wendy’s has a niche spot, it’s not bad if that’s what you’re looking for. Jack in the Box is similar to Wendy’s but they get creative with their menu. BK I have no idea how they still exist.
Harvey's reminds me of the gross frozen burgers my parents made (I assume they were dirt cheap). You would have to pay me quite a bit to eat at Harvey's.Harvey’s is still solid, though for some reason you can barely find them anywhere. Though at this point since I finally have an adult income I pretty much stick to hipster or sports bar burgers.
Man I used to love Harvey’s. Haven’t had one in like 20 years.Harvey’s is still solid, though for some reason you can barely find them anywhere. Though at this point since I finally have an adult income I pretty much stick to hipster or sports bar burgers.

we had a couple in Vancouver area but they closed in 2020-2021Man I used to love Harvey’s. Haven’t had one in like 20 years.
You’re not alone but you’d have to drag me at gun point to eat there.I like Arby's. There. I said it.
The Harvey's beef patties came from M&M.Harvey's reminds me of the gross frozen burgers my parents made (I assume they were dirt cheap). You would have to pay me quite a bit to eat at Harvey's.
While in grad school, I ate at one near campus like the first day, thought it was pretty good, then never ate there againI like Arby's. There. I said it.

If you have an M&M near you, buy their frozen beef patties. They're the Harvey's burgers.
