2024 NHL prospect pool rankings: No. 28 Toronto Maple Leafs

After graduating Matthew Knies, Nick Robertson and Joseph Woll and making three picks in the 2023 draft, the Leafs system has taken a hit.

Don’t actually think things are that dire tbh, but guess you have to make the cut off somewhere. Could really make up a big portion of the roster with NHL ready kids next year.

Not dire at all. How many top 6 type prospects and graduated kids do we need? And if Woll sticks, G is covered.

D is pretty dire though, admittedly.

Hockey prospecting has us at 20th which is probably more accurate.

Without Knies and Robertson we have maybe 5 legit non goalie prospects (Cowen, minten, Tverberg, Grebyonkin and Neimela) and none of them are elite.

But what do you expect when you trade all your picks for nothing. Only 11 picks in the last 3 years including only 3 in the first 3 rounds.

there is no chance this group is 28th. We have a large number of good to very good prospects with very likely quality NHL upside.
