No offense but did you ever play competitive sports? 2 inches is actually a lot.
I definitely don't notice a 2" difference when I'm on the ice. I'll start to notice at 3 or 4 though.

If anything, Tampa is the exception that proves the rule. The bigger skilled team will beat the smaller skilled team most of the time, in almost every sport - top athletes today tend to be big and skilled, IN ALL SPORTS. Not sure why you want to deny this. Are you an advocate for the vertically challenged? Do you do pro bono work for them? BTW, I'm fine with drafting Clayton Keller 9th overall as he appears to be an exceptional talent but you can't have a top 6 full of players under 6'0" and expect to be a serious Cup contender on a consistent basis.
And the most skilled team will beat the lesser skilled team most of the time, in almost every sport, no matter the size.
Skill is our biggest need right now, size is second.

Pretty much everyone in the NHL, or at the top level of any sport, has skill, so big and skilled will beat small and skilled most of the time.
Here's the bottom line: other NHL teams seem capable of finding players who are skilled AND big, while we seem only capable of finding players who are either big (and unskilled) or skilled (and small), but not a combination of both, and this is a problem.
We somehow managed to find Max and Alex. But we need more, I agree.
That's not true, there is a huge disparity of skills between teams. All the teams in the finals this year have way more skills than us and that's why they are there, more than they slight size advantage.
Both in the first round, just saying, so it's a bit easier. Other teams seem capable of finding skill/size combo. players in later rounds.
Except I never said that we were small and skilled. We're just mostly small. Going forward, we need to find players who are big and skilled. If other teams can, so can we, unless Timmins is so incompetent at what he does . . .
But you said every team in the league has skill, that would include us as well.
Did I say we have no skill? No. Did I say we lack big players with skill? Yes. Do I think we can win a Cup with mostly small, skilled players? No. If you believe we can, that's fine . . . but it's highly unlikely based on the direction that the NHL, and most other parts, have been and are headed in. I can't stop you from being a reality denier. It's everyone's right.
No, and I also believe that we can't win with a big team without skills. We need both and I won't turn either away. If Reway can play and improve our PP and scores 20 goals for us, I won't deny him a spot just because he's small.

I don't think anyone thinks we can. We need to find skilled players with size, like other teams seem to be able to. And I'm fine with keeping Reway if he's good enough but you need can't have 4 midgets in the top 6.
Wheres Chad Kilger when we need him.. LOL
Do you mean Mariusz Czerkawski? You mean Jason Ward
