Martin Reway Signs

Small players on the bottom six is dumb. If your going to use plumbers at least use plumbers with size.

Not really. I went over the last ten years earlier.

When you look at players drafted round 4 or later who become top 6 forwards or top 4 Dmen.... more of them are 5'11 and under than are 6'3 and over.

By the time you get later in the draft, players have flaws, its little guy with skill or big guy with minimal skill.

Reway is a fourth rounder...

Our flaw right now is that we're simply lacking a player to be in our top-6. Neither DD nor Eller are top-6 guys. It might be Carr or Andrighetto, but we don't know. Maybe we sign Okposo, Ladd, Backes, or Staal. But we lack talent in our top-6 right now, so if we can bring in anyone who is a top-6 talent, I'll take them. Sure, if they're big guys that's a bonus, but we're not to the point of being able to turn away skill.

Its the total picture , first round draft woes, development woes, inability to make trades , players not wanting to come here , etc...

A joke how 3 players since 08 draft have developed on this roster , not counting Nate cause we still dont know WTF he is, I dont think anyone in this league has that bad a draft record.

This is a fourth round draft pick making $660,000 against the cap (if he even makes the team). I don't see what is so hard to understand here.

He's got skill, he's got question marks too.

Its worth taking a chance on that skill, cause no one is guaranteeing him a spot, and if he doesn't make it, oh well... cost us very little.

I just want a scouting department with all these high priced salaries to find us some fooken players between 5`11" and 6`3" with a nice blend of skill and ability to play on this team , any just produce some talent FFS .

you are a big time businessman who takes risks aren't are you tired of constantly bringing in guys that someone says, well it isn't a big risk, see Kassian, Semin, now Reway, resigning Drewiske, Bartley if resigned etc

I would fire the entire management and coaching staff and bring in fresh thinkers that would play a more robust offensive game with speed. I think Bergevin is a eunuch and Therrien a moron. I also think Molson is the biggest pussy on the planet.

You know the answer to that. Who needs a "transition game" when you can just fire the puck off the glass? Much easier to coach.

Reway seems to have attitude issues (he quickly worn out his welcome with his european teams)....just can't wait to see Therrien and Reway go at it.
