Who needs education with all of those energy industry jobs? Run out of those jobs? Just get rid of the "foreigners" (aka...newfies) that currently have them and make sure only good ol 'Berta boys have them.

Alberta wont leave ..... and if Canada is divisible than alberta is also divisible.

If Kenny thinks that the aboriginal communities in that province will go silently into the sunset with alberta ....

If anything, I could see those communities starting there own drilling and even a refinery (anyone got 2 billion dollars laying around) to ship through the country, and maybe through reserves.

Maybe the rest of the country could make an incredible amount of money from alberta separating lol.

Yeah, same problem Quebec had that nobody wanted to talk about. The entire northern half of the province is empty and the native bands have as much or more claim to the land as the province does. A landlocked Alberta, without legal claim to the oil sands is basically what would happen is some nothing state in the mid west tried to secede.

If anything, I could see those communities starting there own drilling and even a refinery (anyone got 2 billion dollars laying around) to ship through the country, and maybe through reserves.

Nobody is building a refinery there without public money, and no politician is stupid enough to puke 2 billion into a building that might be worthless in 5-10 years.

Maybe the rest of the country could make an incredible amount of money from alberta separating lol.

It would cut down on future transfer payments when they become a perennial have not province. They're making zero effort to pivot to an oil free future.

In a country that is screaming for medical care..... is this insanity at its finest?

Imagine going to university and apprenticing for 7 or 8 years to be told where you can work.
