Calling in the army would just validate their idiot narrative (among their supporters.)

They are common criminals and should be treated as such. Cops.

Yeah. It’s really bad. There have to be consequences. They messed up bigly, both strategically and tactically. I don’t buy the “we never saw it coming” argument - time to grow up and put the big boy pants on.

Tactically they were less nimble and outfoxed by trailer park hammerheads. Maybe that’s an overly generous interpretation…
 
There's zero reason to engage with these people on any level. There's no win in discussing anything with them, it just legitimizes them and their methods of getting attention. We have a system in place for redressing all of these grievances. Giving these morons validation for ignoring the existence of those systems sends a horrible message. That any time a rounding errors worth of idiots wants something, they just have to act the fucking fool and get attention for their cause.

A lot of mumbling about how hard it is from people who really don't want to do it. If this was BLM or Idle No More, I think we'd find an amazing level of give a fuck and no expense or effort would be spared.

That entire article boils down to "it's hard and it would take days" (oh noes! not whole entire days of work!)

but just arrest them - take the keys - drive it away

yes, the precedent our police, politicians, and armed forces is setting is this: the more difficult you make it for us to do our jobs, the less likely we are to do them*
























*obviously, so long as you have white skin
